Last week there was a professional competition in Shiauliai, Lithuania organised for car technicians - the 6th Toyota Baltic General Technician Skills Grand Prix where the best car technician of Toyota was found out.
The competition could be participated by 14 resellers of Toyota of all three Baltic countries. Each reseller was represented by one car technician. ELKE Auto AS was represented by car technician Roland Sagar.This intensive competition consisted of several different sessions. Participants were competitive in routine maintenance, car diagnosis and repair of plants. All participants had to reply theoretic questions in form of a written test that contained also questions about the history of Toyota. At the end of the competition, the winner turned out to be our car technician Roland Sagar. The achieved position provides a right to represent Baltic countries at the Europe-wide competition of car technicians of Toyota in Belgium in November.
