Toyota is official partner of the 11th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics that will take place from 10 to 12 March 2006 at the Olimpiysky Sport Palace in Moscow.
In addition to being responsible for the Championships’ official cars (Lexus and Camry models will be use to transport the executives of the Olympic Committee and the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations), Toyota’s name will appear on the bibs of all female athletes, on the perimeter boards in stadium and on all official designations.
After the World Championships in Paris in 2003 and in Helsinki in 2005, it is the first time that Toyota is involved in the World INDOOR Championships. The World Indoor Championships are staged every two years, preceding or following the World Championships. Even if smaller the World Championships, the Indoor Championships promise to be a major event in Russia with 630 athletes from 135 federations participating and an estimate of 267,500,000 viewers all over the world. Toyota’s participation to the World Indoor Championships in Moscow represents a further step on the road to Osaka 2007.
